Production methods

  • ・We can produce both powders (non-granulated) and granules (granulated). Granulation methods supported include wet granulation (kneading method and fluidized bed granulation) and dry granulation. Therefore, we can granulate ingredients that cannot mix with water.
  • ・We can also manufacture portioned products using a four-side seal automatic packaging machine.

Powders

Foreign matter removal

Incoming raw materials are sieved using the Comil (a granulator) to remove foreign particles. Additionally, metallic contaminants such as iron powder originating from raw materials are removed by passing them through a magnet.

Particle sizing

When necessary, particles are classified using a vibrating sieve to adjust to the appropriate powder size for the product.

Packaging

Portioned packaging

・The product is filled and sealed using a four-side seal automatic packaging machine and packed into cartons.

Large-quantity packaging

・The product is filled into aluminum or polyolefin bags, heat-sealed, and packed into cartons.
・Alternatively, it can be filled into polyolefin bottles, capped, and packed into cartons.

Granules

Foreign matter removal

Incoming raw materials are sieved using the Comil (a granulator) to remove foreign particles. Additionally, they are passed through a magnet to remove metallic contaminants.

Raw material milling

When necessary, raw materials are milled using an impact mill (hammer mill).

Blending

Ingredients are uniformly mixed using a container-type mixer (such as a V-blender or Bohle container mixer).

Granulation and sizing

Wet granulation

Kneading method

  • ・Raw materials are kneaded with a liquid binder using a kneader to produce a wet mass.
  • ・The wet mass is processed into pellets using an extrusion granulator.
  • ・The pellets are resized using a crushing granulator (speed mill) to the appropriate particle size.

Fluidized bed granulation

  • ・Raw materials are fluidized and sprayed with a liquid binder in a fluidized bed granulator to form granules.

Dry granulation

Dry granulation

・Raw materials are compressed into flakes using a dry granulator (roller compactor).
・The flakes are resized to the appropriate particle size using an oscillating granulator.

Drying

Wet granulation(kneading and fluidized bed methods)

  • ・Granules are dried using a fluidized bed dryer and adjusted to the appropriate moisture content.
Dry granulation

・No drying process is required.

Particle sizing

・When necessary, particles are classified using a vibrating sieve to ensure the appropriate powder size for the product.

Bulk packaging

・The product is filled into aluminum or polyolefin bags, heat-sealed, and packed into cartons.
・Alternatively, it is filled into polyolefin bottles, capped, and packed into cartons.
