Solid formulations
- ・We offer tablet production using direct compression, dry granulation, and wet granulation methods. For tablet identification, we support not only traditional embossing but also full-color inkjet printing. Based on our experience with magnesium oxide tablets, we have established stable handling techniques that ensure consistent printing, even for highly abrasive active ingredients. We also offer anti-abrasion coating.
- ・We are equipped with high-pressure tableting machines capable of producing large ring-shaped tablets, allowing us to manufacture lozenge-type products as well.

●Tablets and lozenges
Foreign matter removal
Incoming raw materials are sieved using the Comil (a granulator) to remove foreign particles. Additionally, metallic contaminants such as iron powder originating from raw materials are removed by passing them through a magnet.
Raw material milling
When necessary, raw materials are milled using an impact mill (hammer mill).
Blending
Ingredients are uniformly mixed using a container-type mixer (such as a V-blender or Bohle container mixer).
Granulation and sizing
Direct compression
No granulation process is required.
Wet granulation
Kneading method
- ・Raw materials are kneaded with a liquid binder using a kneader to produce a wet mass.
- ・The wet mass is processed into pellets using an extrusion granulator.
- ・The pellets are resized using a crushing granulator (speed mill) to an appropriate particle size.
Fluidized bed granulation
- ・Raw materials are fluidized and sprayed with a liquid binder in a fluidized bed granulator to form granules.
Dry granulation
- ・Raw materials are compressed into flakes using a dry granulator (roller compactor).
- ・The flakes are resized using an oscillating granulator to achieve the desired particle size.
Drying
Wet granulation (kneading and fluidized bed methods)
- Granules are dried in a fluidized bed dryer and adjusted to an appropriate moisture content.
Dry granulation
・No drying process is required.
Particle sizing
When necessary, particles are classified using a vibrating sieve to ensure the appropriate powder size for the product.

Tableting
Tablets are formed using a rotary tablet press.
Tablet inspection
Tablet inspection
Tablet appearance is inspected using a visual inspection system to detect contamination, cracks, chips, or dirt.
Tablet printing (for printed tablets only)
An inkjet tablet printer is used to print identification codes. Printing is supported on one or both sides and can accommodate irregular shapes and scored tablets.
Packaging
PTP packaging
- Tablets are filled into PTP sheets using a PTP packaging machine and sealed (also compatible with weekly sheet types).
- ・PTP sheets are bundled, then packed in aluminum pillow packaging and boxed. Desiccants can be added to the aluminum pillow, and package inserts can be included in the outer carton as needed.
Bottle packaging
- ・Tablets are counted and filled into bottles using a tablet counter. Desiccants are inserted, caps are tightened using a torque-controlled capping machine, and the bottles are then boxed.
Liquid formulations
